1. Who runs the draw
The promoter is What’s On Ynys Môn, Anglesey. Contact: hello@whatsonynysmon.co.uk. The draw is not run or sponsored by any business listed on this site.
2. Who can enter
- You must live in the UK and be aged 18 or over. The prize may include alcohol.
- The promoter, members of the promoter’s household and anyone involved in running the draw can’t enter.
- We may ask the winner for proof of age and address before sending the prize.
3. How to enter
- Sign up to the weekly email using any sign-up form on this site between 6 October 2026 and the closing time. Ticking the box to receive the weekly email is what enters you.
- If you signed up before the draw started, you’re already entered.
- You stay in the draw even if you unsubscribe before it closes.
- Don’t want the weekly email? Email hello@whatsonynysmon.co.uk with the subject “Prize draw” and your name, before the closing time. You’ll be entered without joining the list.
- One entry per person, however many times you sign up or email. No purchase is necessary. Entries made automatically, in bulk or by someone else on your behalf don’t count.
4. The prize
- One Welsh food and drink hamper worth £250 at retail prices, delivered free to a UK address.
- We choose the contents. If an item isn’t available, we’ll replace it with one of similar or higher value.
- There’s no cash alternative, and the prize can’t be transferred.
5. The draw and the winner
- On Monday 14 December 2026 we’ll pick one winner at random from all valid entries, using a computer random selection or with someone independent of What’s On Ynys Môn watching.
- We’ll email the winner the same day. To claim, reply with a UK delivery address by 11:59pm on Wednesday 16 December 2026. If we don’t hear back by then, or the winner isn’t eligible, we’ll draw another winner.
- We aim to send the prize by Friday 18 December 2026 so it can arrive before Christmas, but we can’t guarantee courier delivery times.
6. Announcing the winner
Within a month of the draw, we’ll show the winner’s first name and county on this page, unless they ask us not to. Anyone can ask us for those details by email.
7. Your information
Sign-ups are handled as described in the weekly email section of our privacy notice. Email entries are used only to run the draw and contact the winner, and are deleted within 3 months of the closing date.
8. Changes
We’ll only change or cancel the draw if something outside our control makes that necessary, and we’ll explain any change on this page. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
