Made by someone who lives on Anglesey and wanted one place to find what’s on across the island, without hunting through dozens of pages.

Who runs it

What’s On Ynys Môn is run by one person on Anglesey, who chooses not to be named on the site. If you email us, you’ll get a reply from a named person. The only way to contact us is by email: hello@whatsonynysmon.co.uk.

What it covers

• Events: one-off and repeating events, from markets and gigs to family days and guided walks.
• Places: attractions, castles, beaches, walks and nature spots.
• Venues: cafés, pubs, restaurants, theatres and halls.
• Ideas: suggested plans for a day out.

How listings are checked

Every listing is checked by hand before it appears. Where we can, we check dates, times and prices against the organiser’s or venue’s own information and show where the details came from. If something isn’t confirmed, we say so rather than guess. Read the listing and editorial policy for the details.

Language

The site is written in English. Organisers and businesses can send their descriptions in English or Welsh, and Welsh place names keep their proper spelling, such as Ynys Môn and Llanfairpwll.

Free listings

Listing an event or a place is free. There are no paid placements on the site at the moment. If we introduce them, they will always be clearly labelled.
