For cafés, pubs, attractions and activity providers
What's On Ynys Môn lists places on Anglesey that people can visit and spend time at. Choose what you'd like to do.
Running an event rather than a place? List your event free
We only list places people can visit and spend time at: somewhere worth going on a day out. We check every application before it goes live.
Free to apply. An editor checks every application before anything goes live, and may tidy the description.

For owners, managers and staff of a place already on the site. There’s no login: tell us what should change, an editor confirms it with the business using contact details it already publishes, then makes the change.

Put your event or place first: at the top of the homepage lists, above matching search results and first in the nearby panels on listing pages. Your listing stays free either way. Ask for a quote below. Nothing is booked or charged until you accept it.
First place, a bigger card and a button straight to your tickets or bookings, for 2 or 4 weeks. It’s always labelled “Advertisement”, so visitors know it’s paid.
Example: how an advert card looks
Where: the first card in “Events coming up” or “Eat & drink” on the homepage, shown large with your photo, promo line and a ticket or booking button. When someone’s search matches you, your advert also sits above the results in its own labelled space. Events more than four weeks away go in “Book ahead” instead.
How long: 2 or 4 weeks. An event advert ends on the event date at the latest.
Spaces: a small number at a time, booked in order.
Where: the “Make a day of it” panel on listing pages near you. Places to eat take the first “Eat nearby” card on pages within about 9 miles, on days you’re open. Events appear as “Coming up nearby” on pages within about 15 miles.
How long: 2 or 4 weeks.
Spaces: one advert per panel at a time.
When it ends, we tell you when and where it ran, with screenshots. Counts of listing views and clicks to your website, tickets, directions or phone are only available once our visitor statistics are switched on, and we’ll tell you before you book whether they are. We can’t see or report your bookings or sales.
Every advert is also featured at least once in our weekly email while it runs, labelled “Advertisement”. Adverts don’t include social media posts. Editor’s picks and day plans aren’t for sale.
